OK, first thing I gotta say is, anyone that is going to raise the HP of their MP3 by more than about 40, get the 6 puck racing disc!
I have the ACT heavy duty pressure plate and the 6 puck racing disc. Part number on the disc is like RR-6 or something like that. DO NOT get the regular street disc, it will slip. If you are going turbo or NOS, get the puck.
The clutch grabs hard as hell, and I can catch a hell of a 2nd and 3rd. It is totally streetable though and isn't that harsh driving it normal. The pedal pressure is about twice what is was, and shorter. It has a nice solid, tight feel to it.
I have been driving the hell out of it all night long. Launching at 2500 it will spin off the line, but very controllable. Shifting at a hair before redline and power shifting it. It jerks you around like hell. Catching a 2nd and 3rd, the tires don't chirp though, they hop. We still need a good set of adjustable struts to help with that, and some engine mounts would help too.
My opinion is, if you are planning on a turbo down the road or NOS or anything over about 25-30 HP from stock, get the 6 puck, you won't regret it.
