Accidentally put in diesel engine oil...

Hey guys ,
I was just cleaning my car , and found half a quart of the unused oil that remained from the oil change i did to the car last week , same day i got it , i sent it to get oil changed with my driver.
The place is a very well managed one , i know the owner , but to my surprise , i just found out the bottle says for diesel engines. It was Repsol Full Synth 5W-20 TDI.
I suppose the worker saw the specs on the oil bottle to be 5W-20 as indicated for the car , but didn't care to look it was for diesel and not gas engine.
i have done some 300 miles on it , and will be sending the car to change that tomorrow morning.
Could this do any harm ?!

most diesel oils contain a cleansing agent, I used to run it in my v8s for this reason with no trouble at all

Guess will have it swapped out anyways at the shops' cost.
