accidentally opened rear break line! urgent!

Air bleeder system

Gunson eezibleed kit. It allows you to use air pressure from a tire with an adapter at the master cylinder to do bleeding quickly and with one person. The downside is that if they don't have a cap to fit your cylinder, you'll need to find a spare to install a fitting in.

I think the English parts sites like Moss Motors sell these. I have one, but still use the one-man bleeder kit. Works for me.

pressure powered systems are pretty much a total waste when you're talking about bleeding the air out of a single line that may just have a couple of air bubbles in the wheel cylender...

correctomundo sir!! they are more for changing the fluid then anything. u still have to bleed them the old fashoned way to finish the job.

I hate to see what kind of experience chaning a spark plug would take.... (poke)

My statement was posted BEFORE she revealed that she had experience with cars.

Based on him asking for a tutorial on brake bleeding I figured I had at least suggest getting a friend to help.

thanks for the help guys, just bled that one side and everything feels perfect again!

Would I be safe to assume I got all the bubbles if i drove for about 200 miles and didn't feel any pedal mush? IT's not something that is gonna take a while to manifest?

oops.I fixed my post to reflect the sex of the OP.(yes)

It sounds like the system will be ok now. Good job!!
