So I flashed the AP onto my stock speed 6 and so far seems like a big improvement except one issue I have noticed a few times in the past few days. When i am on the gas around 5000 RPM it seems like it stops acccelerating for a second then kicks back in. almost like the egine stops completely. I have never noticed this before the AP could this be a fuel pump issue?

I haven't had the issue.

Questions:
What kind of octane?
What was the weather temp?

93 and it was about 50 degrees outside... It started doing it alot more often so I removed the ap flash and went back to stock and now I am fine

Could it be the colder weather? Boston and Denver... I would think the colder weather would help this car, but this car is so quirky that anything is believable.

I just flashed mine using the stage 1 on my completely stock ms6. I get a very very short hesitation right at 5000 rpm also. Its barely noticeable on mine. Plus I figure being able to run it to redline without it falling on its face makes up for it.

Flightmedic,
You probably right. Are you watching your KR? I know with bad KR most computers will retard timing so you don't blow the engine.
I'm just a little confused because I've been beating on my car and haven't experienced it yet.

i don't switch DSC off on my all the time and it never hesitates. of course i am basically running a custom tune from cobb as i beta test for them.

hope maybe the 93 octane maps might help or maybe when I get my dp I will also throw on the hks ignition and cp-e hdfp... Stage II shgould be a big improvement and hopefully with those mods the hiccup will go away. It doesnt do it as often now but it is still there maybe 3 out of 10 times when I shift at a high RPM it will do it in the next gear, mostly from 4th to fifth...
