Just posted about my blacked out emblems, but can only add 5 pictures so I have to add another post about the accent lights I just put on myself too...

(thanks to Sean2010 for the front LED idea!)

Driver's footwell (have same glow on passenger's side too)

Wiring was kind of a pain, but I'm no master electrician. Wired everything to the battery and then to the switch; plus I have a fuse between the power and the switch.

Most likely not legal to have on when driving since they are very blue, right?

That would a big Not Legal. But hey I have blue LED KIT lights on the front of my car so just don't cruise with them on. Picture compliments of Lord Zath

Posting in an old thread, but I was looking to see if anyone had used these LED strips. Really want to put some on mine, was thinking of that same spot too. If they were white, would it be legal? Plenty of Audi's and Mercedes have white LED accents on the front.

I actually recently switched away from those blue led light strips on the lower part of my fender because of the legal issue. I found some blueish white (less blue than before at least) strips and decided to put them up on my headlights. I haven't had any trouble with cops even having driven by them at night with these lights and I think they look much better. It doesn't look prefect yet since I don't have my HIDs installed, but when those are in it'll look really good at night.
