accent color for laser blue mica

Trying to see what you guys think before I drop the car off for paint.

Im looking to add a stripe or two of some sort and trying to decide what will look good with laza blue. To give you guys an idea of what Im thinking, it will most likely be close to the paint scheme on the Wings West MP3. But knowing me Ill change my mind before I go next week. Anyway I was thinking a pearl white or titanium.

Im open to suggestions even if its keep it solid.

have you thought about an off white pearl....?
or a yellow or black... either of those three would be a personaly choice, but i'm just throwing those out there-

I'll help ya out and make it 3 posts , but my opinion has already been stated. Out of the 3 that I listed I'm thinking that the black would be best... What kind of stripe are you going for... one that is a straight pinstripe or something that thickens up towards the rear or what... maybe that might help?

I kinda thought i said that, but mabey it wasnt too clear.

Wings west style with the side stripe that rolls off the hood I think thats the best way to describe it. (med. size line that falls off the hood and then follows above the crease on the side of our proteges)

Strider......... thanx for the bump. I only bumped cause 70+ people looked here but only three seem to want to say something(scratch). Mabey I should make it a poll.

Im kinda new to the import scene and looking for some ideas on this before I go through with it.

And the sad thing to me is the best idea Ive had is viper gts stlye paint with a flat white(which I dont really care for)--- and striders black and off white pearl on laza blue.

dont do the viper stipes. it is played out and IMO not very good looking.

maybe check out some of the protege's in the world speed challenge to get some ideas.

Sorry, just don't like stripes. Their a pain in the ass sometimes as well. Peeling off, fading etc.

no. no stripes. i think decals would be smarter because if u dont like them after a while u can just remove them. if u paint the car and get tierd of it, its going to be much more costly to remove them or cover them up. decals are much cheaper but im not too much a fan of them either. i say just keep the car clean without anything on. but if u really want to stand out, decals i think are the way to go. hope i could help. peace - chris

Don't listen to em. Get what you want. I am getting decals here once it starts to get nicer out. i'm thinking the WW type stripe also. I think I want the stripe in an orange coler and a shadow of that stripe in a metallic silver. I'm still undecided too. But hopefully I'll make up my mind some day. The best thing to do is to take a picture of your car. Use photoshop or paint or something and put the stripes on it just to get an idea of what it will look like. Thats what I'm goin to do.

Love this idea and that just might work, wondering though would it be as denfined to just pearl the laza blue where Id want stripes??

I might go the decal way if I find something that I like.

Im going thursday to talk with my paint man, so Im still open to other ideas!!!-- and that still includes you guys that say leave it alone.

if you feel the need to stripe, i vote for the same color in flat finish. and do it in "starsky and hutch" style.
