Right, few months back I got the TCS light up on the dash (car with squiggly lines) and its stayed on ever since, but just after it came on I had it plugged into diagnostic machine and it gave the error code which I can't remember but it also gave the error name (brake pressure sensor failure) so I spent ages looking and finally got hold of a complete ABS pump unit including the ECU controller, it came from a 2009 Mazda 2 1.5 sport, which in theory is exactly the same engine as my 2007 Mazda 2 1.5 Sport, but the model numbers for the unit in my car are slightly different to the unit I just bought, contacted mazda dealer nearby and they couldn't tell me 100% if it would fit because they needed the reg plate of the car it came from, it loooks the same as the unit in my car, so could maybe one of you guys have an answer to help me in this problem. I can't find any real info on these abs units apart from what I already know lol. I just need to know if it will be a straight swap and quick brake bleed and I should have a working TCS again.
