ABS question

Do I really need abs can I just unhook it and drive without it, thanks .I suspect that the speed sensor is faulty and don't want to get a new one if possible

Why bother unhooking it. You will get the warning light either way. Speed is calculated from all 4.

what Im saying is just eliminate the abs all together

You will need the non-abs master cylinder and all of the brake lines from the proportioning valve that normally go to the ABS module. Just so happens that I have all of these available for sale as I was going to do this myself.
