A totaled Mazda 3

She sounds like an idiot. If you drop your phone don't try to pick it up while driving.

That sucks! I had to go to a chiropractor for a year after I was rear-ended in my '84 Jetta and landed in a ditch. Whole car totaled, but it was only a $1000 car.. I'm glad no one was seriously hurt in your crash!!

But you should think about suing. People overdo it, yes, but there are times it needs to be done.

Also, it's not that SUVs (I hate 'em, don't worry), trucks, etc. should not be allowed on the road with cars, it's more that there need to be special driving classes & license tests for anyone who is going to operate an oversized vehicle, especially one with poor lines of sight from the driver's seat. Off soapbox.

Never use the phone while driving; pull off the road and kill yourself instead.

A whole year? Urgh, it's already annoying going to the chiropractor three times a week, good time right now I'm on my summer break from college.

Yeah, twice a week for a year. I'm not sure all of it was needed, but from what I remember, my chiropractor drove a 911, so he likes the money.. My neck & my back..

I bet it feels nice though, after an adjustment, yeah?

I guess, the first couple of time it felt good, but now it's just like whatever. BTW my chiropractor drives a BMW 5 Series, lol. I just don't get the other chiropractor, he drives a Ford Five Hundred.

glad to hear you are alright man!!

what a mess of a car..... was there any dvd navigation equipment installed on it btw?

I might be biased based on my profession, but a year of rehab is ridiculous unless you've suffered some sort of spinal fracture, spinal cord injury, or something as serious as that. Is this guy just popping you 3x/week and see ya next visit or is he giving you some exercises to work on as well? Did you ever see the Simpsons episode where Homer saw the chiropractor after getting kicked by a bull? (taken from www.snpp.com)
Homer takes Dr. Hibbert's referral to see Dr. Steve, a chiropractor.
Homer lies down, and Dr. Steve performs a spinal adjustment.

Homer: Hey! It feels a little better.
Steve: Mmm-hmm. I thought it might. Now, I'll need to see you
three times a week for, uh ... [reads a chart] ... many
years.

This is sort of how it is, especially if the guy is driving a Porsche or BMW. Not saying all are bad, but if no end is in site and you are not improving steadily, see a good PT to help you help yourself. Passive Tx works for only a few visits if you are too painful to do anything else, but then you should be doing some exercises on your own. Just my 2 cents. Let us know how it turns out.
BTW, I have much more education than chiropractors, but was driving a 1995Pontiac Grand Prix before I got the MS3. So who is raking in the money? But at least my conscience is clear knowing I'm not raping people's insurance, regardless of who's insurance it is.

yikes glad to see everyone is ok. I would sue ... considering the insurence company will pay out anyway. Why sue? Because for one...pain and suffering. I think its hard enough to walk away from a car accident that should of never happened to begin with and be ok... i mean that back end of that car is ******* destroyed and there were people in the back??? I would sue for something at least. Thats what makes the world go round. :)
