I am looking to install an air/fuel guage in my car. The problem lies in the oxygen sensor:

1. There are four wires connected to it -- which wire is the high
side?
2. What is the voltage -- 0-1 VDC or 0-5 VDC?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

good question i would like to know that also so that once i get my gauge i to will be able to install it with out complications........thanx very much....................

I work for ford motor in engine calibration,
i am an engineer, and every air/fuel meter I have used has had a transfer function from 0-5 volts corresponding from 10-20 on the air/fuel meter, 10 being rich, and 20 being lean.

HAs any of u heard about an air/fuel gauge coming out and what exactly are the benefits.? Just asking. :D

do a search...I already answered this question in another post
