A clear battery anti-corrosion?

I bought some battery anti-corrosion from Autozone, but they are RED!! Went on the battery terminal so ugly even though I keep it only on the terminal. I'd like to use something different next time, maybe something that does not have any color.
So, is there product that has no color or maybe light color that would keep the battery terminal looks like a battery terminal?

ive never seen a "colorless" one. i used to work at check auto and ours was purple. what does it matter if it looks ugly? do people see it all the time?

Most auto parts stores don't carry what you need, petroleum jelly aka vaseline will prevent corrosion on the terminals and post.

It would be nice if they make a spray vaseline.
Well, I would prefer purple like the one my mechanic used on my car, it is really annoying to me to have a bloody red battery terminal, maybe I'm just too picky.
But still I can't understand why they manufacturer something red like that.

I repeatedly get this buildup on the battery of my RX8. I'm not good with working on cars. I am recently divorced and I kept the car because I paid for it. Problem is I have no clue on what to do. I took it in while it was under warranty because the engine light was on. They kept it for three weeks! Never had this problem before that and the check engine light is still on. I already paid $700 for what they "worked" on but it s worse than ever. I asked them to fix it but they said they would have to charge me all over again. My ex cleaned it up with baking soda but that was about a month and a half ago and it is just as ad as it was. My dad ( who lives 650 miles away) tried to clean it up. In replaced the battery twice in the past year. My ex is stationed in Hawaii do he I'd not able to help. Please help me figure out what I need to replace. I am already on a very tight budget and am tired of getting screwed over by the guys at the auto shop. Thank you in advance!
