A/C not blowing as cold as it used to?

I have an 07 mazdaspeed 3 and it's been sitting for awhile, 3 months or so with minimal driving at all. Been driving my truck as been towing and such allot. Got in today, was hot 95 degrees but it blows cold just not really cold like it used to. Compressor is coming on and off when I turn AC on and off. I was always amazed at how cold the AC was in the car even when 118 in AZ on road trip. Anyone have any ideas or suggestions?

Have you ever changed the A/C Cabin Air Filter?

Mine still cools well, even in the North Florida sauna. I did have the compressor replaced under warranty in 2011. It wasn't cooling at all, though. It's probably a good idea to have it checked for leaks, the evac'd and recharged.
