'98 Protege rear window defroster

Does anybody know how to get the switch for the rear window defroster out of the dash? I am not having any luck.

There is a small panel cover that you can carefully remove on the driver side. You have to open the door to see it. Pry it open with something very thin so you don't ruin the finish. Then, you should have at least some access to the switch. There is very little room, and its very akward to get to, but its doable. I believe you have to press on two clips to make it loose, and have it come out. Goodluck.
