Tryng to relace my right rear lateral link. There is a long bolt that goes through the rear lateral link through the knuckle and then through the front link...well I can't seem to get it to come out of the knuckle. I have sprayed it to death with liquid wrench, beat on it, heated it..and no luck. Any suggestions....
Also if I can't get it out I was thinking about roaming the junk yard for another, was wondering if a knuckle from a 94-96 escort would fit. I know a lot of the suspension parts are interchangable...it's much easier to find old escorts than Mazda's.
Thanks
Dawn

FYI UPDATE:
I did get the bolt removed, had to go out a get a hotter burning torch. From the hardware store that uses MAPP gas. Heated the bolt, then cooled it right away, did that 3 or 4 times. We were then able to bang it out with a hammer

Yeah. It's a multistep process in which you use a more powerful method. I had that problem with an axle nut. We heated it and let it soak in PB blaster, and tried everything. Wouldn't even break loose. The only way we were able to get it off is by using a pneumatic chisel to shave it off the threads lol.
