yea, that's why they probably put a crazy suspension setup and bigass slicks, traction in that thing would suck =)

Reminds me of a ford Festiva with a Mazda engine conversion. Can't remember which one.

Sleepers are sexy, even if they are Geos.

The B6T is the most common engine to swap in. It came in the Mercury Capri XR2 and the Mazda 323 GTX and GT.

It's also what the idea behind Project Fastiva.

I have been thinking of getting the MP3 to a good spot performance wise, then getting a Del Sol for a project car and making it RWD..Is it finding a RWD trans to mate up to the engine, then pretty much doing custom axles, driveshaft, rear suspension?
You can make the Del Sol a rear engine car. Do a search on Google or something. I've seen it before. Not sure if it even needed a custom driveshaft, or if it basically just put the front suspension/axles on the rear and the rear on the front. Can't recall, but I know I've seen it in Super Street or SCC.

Here's a little something to get you going:)

might as well get a miata... already rwd and del sols are really heavy for how small they are. i have a friend thats moding his del sol and thats all he bitches about.

That was pretty cool, I'd like to know the reaction of the other driver.

"WTF is that little blue thing coming so fast, oh s*** GAMEOVER"

Man from the first 10 seconds of the video, hearing that car you know it was going to whoop ass.

My dad used to own a Smurf Blue Chevy Sprint(Gm equivalant), and yes, it was light as hell, two people of average strength could lift the rear und off the ground...it was pretty slow though, with a 5speed manual 3cylinder engine...it was a good beater car, till we popped the motor going down the highway...nothing like dropping 1 cylinder, cracking another...so in the end, it was a 1.5cyl car, with a hole in the exhaust...sound like a tuff ass car....but my lawnmower was fastar...lol.
