pretty nice build you got there, you plan on forging anytime? what about tranny? any plans for that?

also be careful with the NRG seats, they are not DOT approved so if you get into an accident insurance might hassle you if you got injured and they wont cover anything since you installed non approved seats.

Thanks man, i plan on forging if i can find a spare engine, and probalby just gtx gearset, stage2 exedy clutch and a lightened flywheel.
haha yea reppin for the babies man. good call on the NRG seats i didnt know that... thats a kinda serious thing, might look elsewhere for seats.
nice list of mod list of your own, did you buy it forged or did you forge it? either way looks cool.

i got it like this sadly, i mean im glad its forged, but id have rather have done all the other mods myself just to say i did, ya know? but i have further plans for mods, so i can say i did the most important ones lol. yeah that thing with the seats popped up when i googled them, it was on the first page, i wanted to see what they looked like and saw that. which reminds me of my aftermarket crash bar for the perrin FMIC, i still need to call insurance and ask them about that, but in theory wouldnt that only make a difference if i have collision and they would use that as an excuse to not pay the claim? luckily, i have none of the sort, liability all the way!

i think im going to swap the SSAFC with SSFIC, and get a knock light, then throw the GT28 thats FS that you turned down in that bad boy, and crank it to 10-12psi DD and ~20psi for showing off lol
down the road ill go into meth, but it worries me that if you run out, if your tune is reliant on meth then you can blow s*** up in a heartbeat with bad afrs, and since im in college i dont always have money to go out and buy windshield washer fluid

lol i dumped well over 12k into my subaru and thats parts alone. so i told myself that i wasnt going to do the same when building the protege. so im ok with buying ebay stuff and trolling for the lowest priced stuff i can find. so far ive been suuuupppppper lucky. lol id say wrapped up into the speed so far ive only spent like maybe 6k and thats including the price of the car.

mind you car was for the most part stock and if it wasnt stock its been replaced.

i know a lot of systems for instance the snow performance stage 3 boost cooler kit has a function that if you run out of meth it automatically turns down the boost and plus you also have a sensor for fluid level... plus washer fluid is about $2 at walmart, HEET is about $2 if you wanna run more meth than water mix the two.. about $2-4 per tank of gas. I think its awesome cant wait to hook it back up and tune it for the meth. look into aem fic maybe, the local shop strongly reccomended it to me and i have heard/read nothing but great things about it. plus its really cheap like $350.

nice i paid almost $6k for just the car lol. good find man. yea im all for inexpensive parts as long as its not taking away from quality, like ebay fmics, my cheaper than anything water meth kit. how do you like your godspeed wg? i hear a lot of good things about godspeed products

my car still isnt on the road yet so i havent got to test any of the new toys. but ive heard good things and besides if it breaks i have a 1 year warranty for it and it only cost me 100 bucks. lol WIN!

re routed the hot pipe today. wasnt too hard actually. just needed a 45 and a 90 coupler as an addition to the original kit. also had to do some cutting but it got rid of a bunch of extra piping.

hey that turbo you put on there, the gt28r is that the same one i bought in that FS thread for 600? you posted in there but backed out cuz you found this one, whats the stock wastegate open up at? and is it adjustable?

yea its essentially the same. the guy said the stock wg was set to 9psi but not adjustable. and mine came off of an rb26dett which i believe uses a different wga than yours. i think yours is like 14.5. if i recall correctly the wastegate has to be replaced with a msp one or something because it wont mount correctly.

damn, i saw it was threaded so i thought id be able to adjust it, still hopin for the best cuz i don want to sell the OEM turbo with no wastegate hahaha, well it SHOULD be here tomorrow, UPS was delayed due to snow WAMP WAMP WAMPPPP
