does the 626 manifold have the vtcs and what is usually done to this intake manifold before being installed on a pro5 thanks

Nope. That is the advantage - it is a 'cleaner'/simpler intake (AFAIK).

However, without a turbo - you would only lose performance as i understand it.

You could remove your intake, remove the VICS and red loctite the VTCS screws...

See the flat_black porting method. It really does flow better.
 
thanks but i already have a spare manifold i was just wondering if you could pick up more power with a 626 rather than removing vtcs and portig

some of them have butterflies and some of them don't. if you end up buying one from a junkyard and it has butterflies, you can remove them but those manifolds also have smaller intake ports. if you are calling yards to get one make sure you ask them about that before buying it.
