WTF?

Aww its ruined just burn it up with a 5 gallon can of gas and a match.

Actually its pretty cool, I might do that with mine to get some weight reduced.

wtf! derrick put that damn seat back in! It wont make you go any faster maybe shave .0005 sec of your 1/4 et. the int. is so nice why take it out? you wana be a race car driver don't you...lol

i took everything out because i'll be painting my interior panels soon, while i had the panels out, i figured take out the seats, to get access to the third seatbelt, removed. then i went ahead and swapped the RCA's for some Audiobahn's while i was in there.

Wow. Madness. What was the total weight of everything you pulled?

Cool.

I'm a little lost as to what you are planning Derrick....you say painting the interior panels, do you mean the paneling under where the seats normally are, or like the sides next to the seats for a custom interior look....I'd assume the seats will be eventually returning right?

yes, the seats will go back in, after i get to the track. when i say panels, i mean the plastic linings in the trunk, and passenger area.

my plans are, in may(at carlisle) i'll buy two racing seats, and toss the front seats in the back...until i get two more racing seats, plus, im taking measurements for a full roll cage so i figured why not gut it.heehee

imo don't do it! please! dont paint anything! just get new seats for the front if you must. That whole putting bucket seats in the back trend is really stupid.

good thing u posted that pic...I am sure you guys all aware of this but the rear seats are clipped to the body of the car...my rear seats are loose and I cannot clip it back in...any suggestions??

just make sure the seatbelt clips are through the seat bottom, line up the clips, and smack it in there.

You might need some help with this part, maybe you can find a "friend" to help you out with it (upbum)
Then again they just don't make backseats like they used to(notcool)

So in the back between the two bucket seats you'd have like another console like in the front or just empty space or....?

blue, i'd probably make some kind of storage thingy, haven't really thought that far ahead, but now i got something else to dream up custom, hehehe maybe i'll fiberglass a subwoofer in there, i have no clue.

So the roll bar is to protect the fiberglassed subwoofer? Obviously, you're not gutting it for weight savings...
