I will be test fitting the mockup tomorrow or Wednesday. I also have a set of 4 injectors and a stock fuel rail on it's way to help during these final stages. This way I won't need to have mine off of the car to do any test fitting on the injector holes and mounting position.
As soon as that stuff gets here Kelly can start on the injector hole machining... we are going to make a test run on a scrap block, make sure that the injector seals up and that the hole measures just like the stock one. Then, we will move that work over to the prototype flange, and get this thing all welded up. I can assure you guys that as soon as this thing is done, it is getting thrown on my car that day/night.
I am more anxious for this to be done than any of you... I guarantee that, haha. But, there have already been several times that I am very glad that things have taken longer than planned, because the design has become more and more refined than when I started. I don't want to count the chickens yet, but this manifold is going to perform right off the bat, and will hopefully need very little revisions after dyno testing.
