^^probably, this fits the stocker and perrin so far, the MAM bolts up the same so it will fit

my Perrin looks very nice on there!!! Enjoy it!!

PS: wanna build me a IM for my jeep???

Thanks again bud, I do appreciate it. You lookin to drag the jeep or do you want some sort of freaky offroad concoction? ;)

1 million dollars.

From the experience he's had and how it usually goes I wouldn't be surprised. R&D gets expensive.

Now to produce 1800 of these to get your moneys worth. Everyone that still has a MSP is getting one right?

Let's just say that if anything else had come up, I'd be losing money on each one at 699. Cost got up there compared to the original plan.

Sorry if this has already been answered but...

How many are you making of these?
Do you plan on making these on a made or order basis later on?

No need to apologize, the thread has grown to the point of being impossible to find such things. All of you guys should post up any questions that you have, I will do my best to answer them.

As far as how many will be built goes... at least at this point, there are 5 that will most certainly be built beyond the batch 1 GB going on in the other thread. All of the key components are already made for 22 manifolds, and I don't need any extra flanges laying around the house here. :)

3 of those are assembled, so 14 more spoken for and 5 left over.

1 person wants a custom piece that would need to be made on a second batch, and there are 14 people on the "interested" list. I could make a second batch of 10 or more work, but anything less than that will drive the price way beyond the point that I want it to be.

Everything fits good on these, so we are all set folks! Will be calling the metal shop tomorrow to check on the status of my tube order. Ball will get rolling on the rest as soon as that is here. (rockon)
Awesome, I knew this would look great with the Perrin Fuel rail. Although I must say your fuel rail looks a lot better than mine (came all scratched up). Now I have all the more reason to attempt to tuck the wire harness underneath the IM and fuel rail - to show everything off!

Happy new years fellas. Hope you all had a good one.

I am looking into some finishing options. Cliff from boostsciences recommended a local shop that I am checking out on monday. The blasted bare finish looks good in person, and the proto still looks good after a few months on my car, but after awhile the bare aluminum is gonna start to look like ass. I don't want that. This shop is right down the street from kelly and wes, so it would work out perfect if they have some reasonable prices.

What would you guys like to see? They do anodizing, plating, and powdercoating.

I like the idea of black anodized, but let me hear your thoughts.

edit- absolutely no pink powdercoat with shocker logos (this means you ryan).*

edit v.2- Red or blue or yellow of any sort will just look dumb. If you absolutely need one of these colors, I will be forced to charge you a 486 dollar nominal fee, and you will get your manifold bare so you can have some other place butcher it for you.**

* = :p
** = kidding about the 486 bucks, but kinda serious about the rest (evil)

i am pretty sure i am getting mine black (with your logo polished shining through in one corner)

it will be the same black as on my turbo which is a heat dissipation coating to keep it cool and not heat up

can you get that?

it might be easier to just do it myself since i want a lot done haha

I would like to have mine match my exhaust mani (jet hot chrome)

if unable, i'll have it done locally, thanks for the heads up...

I'd be interested in the black anodized, if not too pricey, if not I have a guy here for PC or ceramic.

My vote is for bare aluminum at the minimum I DO NOT want black. I've worked too hard to spice up my engine bay just to have this manifold blend in to obscurity :p

anodized black would hardely blend in obscurely though, IMO it really reflect any other color in the bay nicely.
