Just got home from the Indy 500, and mine will be here tomorrow. Car has to be inspected by the end of the week, so depending on when i can get an appt for that i'll either install it right away tomorrow, or wait until i get the car back Wednesday...
Ouch. How bad is the pan? Can it be repaired?

Got mine today, great looking piece. And Rich surely didn't skimp on the packing peanuts. Haha. Unfortunately, I sold my P5/KL project to a friend but he bought the box and will be installing it. But he works even slower than I do...

Just unboxed mine, very impressed! can't wait to get it installed. Looks like i'll get it done tomorrow afternoon.
two questions, though.
How do i relocate the coolant reservoir? Is there a place to mount the factory bracket or something? I haven't taken anything apart, so sorry if its something obvious. I did not get a new bracket or anything in the box, so not sure.
and, just to confirm, the included filter does not need to be oiled, correct? I thought that was the case, but a few pics showed a bunch of K&N universal cone filters laying around the boxes during packaging...so i'm not sure what i ended up getting haha.
Can't wait man, i'll get pics up as soon as i finish this tomorrow...assuming i can figure out where to put the reservoir.

Very sorry that I overlooked this on your kit. That damn stock bottle is pretty much the only thing I still hate about my bay... and with all of these cool aftermarket bottles floating around it almost felt like everyone else had one. I really should have whipped up the simple bracket I use on mine for these kits, but I didn't.
There are several good zip tie points for it that I used before ever making a solid bracket for it, so hopefully that will work good for you for temporary use. I can send you a bracket here in the next week or so if you need something more solid.No oil on the filter for you... Just wash it and dry it.
Can't wait to see pics from you guys.

alright man, thanks. I'll see what i come up with during the installation, might try and cut my existing bracket and mount it somewhere else. i've wanted to replace both the coolant and PS bottles anyway, just been dragging my feet about it. If you can easily make a bracket, as you already have something to go off of, i'd be happy to send some money for it...but maybe if you could just post a picture of what it looks like, and where/how you mounted it, i could quickly come up with something myself. As i said, i haven't really dug around in there recently, i'm sure i'll come up with something easily.
And my bad on the filter, i didn't see the first page in a while and you specify all that in your initial post. Car goes in tomorrow for inspection, will hopefully have this done after work today if the weather holds.

Who all is running a P5? I can't believe I didn't know the back of the headlight is different... ugh. We have a major problem here with that, and I am not quite sure how we should proceed. I can get a P5 headlight ordered and make a template for the current boxes to be cut, otherwise it's back to the drawing board to get new box sidewalls made for you guys.
I know Circuit is running one because he's the one that just brought this to my attention. I also know installshield is running one, and I think OZ Soul is running a sport20 but I am not sure which headlights those used. Anybody else? Going down the list it looks like most of you have MSP's and will be fine, but I want to get this settled ASAP.

I think everyone else is running sedan headlights. Let me know if that is incorrect. Sending out a PM to you guys right now to see how you want to proceed. I am scouring everywhere to find a drivers headlight and get it on the way pronto. I won't leave you guys hanging at all on this.
