Can anyone tell me what I need to get 440cc Injectors? Who sells them? What I need to make them fit? Do I have to have a fuel management system? Thanks for all your help

RC engineering makes some 440 cc inkectors as well as 550s.

most people just use the wrx injectors. They are a direct drop in with a little spacing.

You will howver need some sort of management to control it whether it be haltech, aem, or emange.

WRX Injectors are a direct fit with a little modification.

You can also get RC and or Bosch injectors that fit with a little machining.

You'll need spacers on the fuel rail with the Bosch\RC Injectors but I can't comment on the WRX ones.

With any larger injector you will need a fuel management system. It's an absolute must.

Juan at HiBoost was offering injectors, but I would imagine you could get them through Chris at SPD as well.

Anybody know if srt-4 injectors would work. (Note- I have not researched this at all other than knowing their stock injectors are 527cc.)

Everybody seems to be selling them cheap, and if you have to do some machining to get the 440's to work anyways......

How much can our stockers support without going to some retardedly high duty cycle?

I was able to get a set of WRX injectors for a decent price so I went with them. I've got Unichip for tuning them (meaning maps for 440cc injectors will be available soon). RC Injectors are good, but can get expensive fast with the clips. I looked into using those too.

I also heard a rumor the Focus SVT injectors can be used....

What about essential speed's 440cc injector kit?
I would avoid purchasing anything from Essentiel Speed if at all possible.

Check out the vendor reviews section and you'll see why.

so about my question. srt-4's work...? (yes) (no)

check the impedence on them, techie :) as long as they are going to be seeing the correct signal its just a fitment game from there.

on second thought- can the MPI Tuner account for high or low impedence injectors? you may only have to check on the fitment if the unit can run them regardless.

The Stock Mazda Injectors are measuring about 15.6 ohms resistance. The WRX are measuring about 13.2 ohms. They are both High impedance [12 - 16 ohms] ....which isn't a concern since most aftermarket ECUs can adjust for low or high.

It just depends if the MPI can work with them, although I'm sure it can, atleast with them as secondaries.

EDIT: OK it appears they ARE high imp. injectors. But nothing is certain. Who wants to buy a set to test fit?
