40 offset, 215/40/17

Will this set up fit on a normal 02 lx protege, all i can find by searching is about the p5. 40 offset/17x7--215/40/17

I have a 40 offset with 215/45/17 and they rub a bit. If you arent lowered you will be fine

I have lowered my 02 Pro lx and I'm sporting a set of 17x7's with 205/40/17 rubber and don't experience any rubbing, at all, if that helps.

It'll be tight w/the 205s. 215s will probably rub. It will depend on the type of tire you use as well as the size.

But it will look really cool--if it rubs, just roll your rear fenders. It's not that hard to do yourself with the proper tool, which you can rent for about $50.
