FYI, buddy of mine took my bone stock MS3 down a track with a 0-60 of 4.1 and 1/4 mile of 13.9. "Official" numbers for comparison is a joke, since none of them are with the same driver, and the driver has a LOT to do with how fast the car goes.

Comparatively, my fastest times were 0-60 5.0 and 1/4 mile of 15.

What track measures 0-60?

There's no way in hell that an MS3 can pull a 0-60 in 4.1 sec. So it's quicker than an M5? lol

Nah, he has a dashhawk we temp-rigged for the day for 0-X mph times. :P

Then the dashhawk needs to be checked as its fubar.. no way in hell a MS3 is pulling 4.1 secs 0-60MPH - getting times faster than of cars with 2x the HP and same weight should have hinted that maybe the measuring stick was scrwed up

a 4.1sec 0-60 time is RIDICULOUS. i don't buy it. i might concede that an excellent driver could pull a low 5sec time, but not a low 4.

BUT i could foresee the ms3 holding its own against a new sti/evo FROM A ROLL. the power difference is slight; and consider the curb weight:
evo = 3517lb
sti = 3395
ms3 = 3153

the lower weight and smaller drivetrain loss (FWD versus AWD) could favor the ms3 from a roll. from a stop, however, the evo and sti would destroy the ms3. and an intake can bump the ms3 up to 275-290hp (theoretically) which reduces the margin further.
