I was wondering if anyone else has this problem. It seems if I let my RPMs hit 3K+ going into 3rd gear, it will grind. The higher the RPM the worse the grind. Any other gear I can tach-out and quickly shift to without any problem, just 3rd. The only way to shift into it without the grind is to keep the cluth depressed until RPMS fall below 3K... My car now has 25K miles on it. I'm calling the dealer tomorrow about the TSB for my "chattering clutch", do you think I should mention the tranny grind as well? And also... will dealer give me any crap about replacing the clutch and flywheel according to the TS Bulletin with so many miles??? And if so should I put my foot up their ass the first time... or come back to do it
