eh, sorry no pics, I threw out the piece I tested on cuz it ddint look good in my opinion. I think Ive still got a small scrap layin around I can paint again. If I get around to it ill throw up some pics and prolly post a vid of angles and light changes to see it better on youtube.

I have one idea for my application but that will require more practice. LOL. I will try to get the real CF look. I am interested in this new clear and how this turns out. 2 birds with one stone. I am also wondering what a flat clear would look like on it. Hmmm.......

I was also wondering about flat clear. I think regular clear makes it look to shiny and less like real carbon fiber

I just did a big test section....1-10 coats of the high gloss show clear. I got it to where it looks like solid coating but it makes it so hard to see the fibers. See how it dries here in a couple hours then see if a wet sand helps. Updates to follow....

Ok I can post pics soon. I did 0-11 coats.
1-light reflects better but still has weave texture.
2-less reflection and less texture than 1
3- even less reflection but less texture than 2.
4-6 harder to make out the weave but almost like glass on top of it with slight weave texture.
7-9 weave is slightly harder to make out but almost perfect glass texture.
10&11 almost perfect clear coat like on real CF but weave is not noticeable unless really looking for it.

That is the best i can describe it on here....

High gloss clear did not turn out like expected but I have more tricks up my sleeve when time permits.....

the clear coating doesn't look good from 1 layer where it seems to shine silver may just be lighting. and only seems to get worse til you can't see it.
how bad is it in terms of catching dust. and washing for external use.
wouldnt mind doing my lip kit.
is it actually smooth to touch?
someone should do a comparison compared too neffy wrap side by side.
it's hard for me to get have to set up a mail forwarding adress due to size restricions in the mail.
