350z to ms3

Well like many other posts, i'm close to switching up the rides. The Z has been a great car, fun to drive, sexy, but my needs are changing and i need some more room. I've looked at the 09 wrx and the gti. Wrx was nice, but the engine issues are too much of a problem that id never touch one. The gti was ok, just ok. I havent got to drive the ms3 yet, they were kinda stingy on a test drive but i worked out some numbers and with money down itll be cheaper than my Z. I think it was 23k for an 09 black mica gt. Thoughts?

you could talk them down more on the price, and shop around(if you have other dealers closer)

you should prob look around and find some of the issue's this car can/may run into, no cars perfect but i guess you have to decide which problems you would rather risk taking.

23k for a GT sounds good, if thats OTD

I got my Sport 09 for 21, 5 OTD.

try and get them down to 22k OTB possibly 21,5 OTB but if you cant, 23k OTD is reasonable.

Very reasonable

shoulda just gotten the 370z....ms3 killer

but if practicallity is the issue then i'd get a wagon, and get one with a turbo in it. hey, that's what i have!

oh and if that is OTD than you're getting a slightly better deal than i did

370Z is an awesome car, but no better than the 350 in terms of practical everyday all year driving for me now. Yup that was the deal i got for otd and i think its looking very good right about now.

23k is reasonable nothing to high and i can bet you can get that down to 22k. I would recommend the ms3 over the gti, drove my friends gti the other day and the ms3 is by far better imo.

I wouldnt be surprised if you could get them down to 22k, maybe a little lower. low ball them a little and then come up on your price, thats what i did for my 08.5 sport last year and got it for 22,200 which i think was a good price when dealer invoice was for 21,700. ask to see what they paid for the car, i dont think they can deny that to you. but i also got my car 2 weeks after it arrived at the dealership in june.

23k is a very very good price. 1k less than mine, which I got last November.

23K is as low as they are going. I just have to decide if i want to trade in, take a lil loss on my z and have a payment around 400. Or just take the down payment and finish modding the z. I just dont think id do one of the 2010's i hate that smiley face front.

I guess it depends on where you're located. I just found a couple MS3 GTs for under 22,500 in the DC area.

FWIW, I got my '08.5 Sport for $19,500 back in Feb.

Well i think im gonna pick her up tonight! 23k otd , getting 9500 for my Z. Im a lil bit upside down but im putting down about 6k to even that out. Its this option for a good all around car, or buy a 2000 xterra for 3600 with 110k miles and keep the Z. Ah i hate decisions

Don't get that model Xterra, get a 2002+ Pathfinder instead. The 2000 Xterra's are really slow and feel cheap. Plus, the 2002+ Pathfinder SE comes in 250 hp and optional 5 speed manual tranny.

Wooooowiw woooow. Im in love for sure! I totally dig this car and dont regret getting rid of my z one bit right now. Ill have some pics ready when im done driving!
