35% tint

does anyone have a pic of there car with 35% tint??? i just wanna see how dark it is??

I would post one of my pics but am at work and they aren't on this comp. Anyway just search my username or for P5 with Kinesis and you can see my Black P5 with 35% all the way around with a stip on the front. Not dark enough in my opinion but it is legal soooooooo..... If i had to do over would probably do 20% all the way around but 35% on the driver and passenger fronts. Still 35% made a huge difference and at night it looks dark as hell.

Ok I'm home now so here you go. BTW mine is the opposite of my fellow north carolinian's meaning the shop used whatever percentage film (I guess it would be 45%) because I think they said the stock glass had like 10% tint from the factory. I don't know if I am saying any of this right but the end result is that on the light meter during inspection my windows register at 35% light transmission which is the legal limit here in north cackilacky. Hope you are able to understand my babbalings it's been a long day. here are the pics..

I was told by the shop that did mine that it was 35%, but just had it tested and it came up 27%. So 35 will be a little lighter. Be careful though, our cars may have factory tint so that when you put 35% on it may be darker than 35.

BTW for comparison that's my truck in the background and it has 10% on the back(it's limo tint) and then it has whatever film makes the stock window register at 35% just like the P5. Dark interiors really help darken the look of the windows. I have black leather so it helps make them look darker. The truck also has dark interior.

Wait just noticed you were in Florida. Man you can tint dark as hell down there. I would go with 10% all the way around and just change the reverse bulbs or put a fog light back there. If I had my way I would have mine that dark.

thanks... i got it back just now... looks pretty good except there is a little air bubble on the driver side so going to get it redone and also get the windshield strip put on as well. got 35% on the 2 front and the rest is 20%. over all i am happy with the results except for the bubble.

Awwww come on who needs to see at night. hehehe. I too love how the dark tint looks on black cars. Love how dark your windows are rx7gslse.
