3200 RPM Engine Vibration?

Just started happening. I have an engine vibration that starts at about 3150, gets harsh at about 3200 (rattles the crap out of my radar dector on the windshield) and then dissapears at about 3400. It seriously vibrates the whole car! Anyone else experienced this? It is seriously bugging me...

I called the dealership and talked with a service advisor and his first question is "how many miles" to which I reply 16300.
He then askes if I have had the "15000 mile induction system cleaning performed".
Anyone heard of this?
My dealer is notorious for selling services first and then doing diagnostics.

Yeah< i've got something like this too. It isn't too incredibly harsh, though, just annoying enough that it rattles my glove box. As for the 15,000 mile thing, never heard of it. Only cleaning I can think of would be to replace/clean filter. Good luck.

I am at 42,220 miles. Never experienced any harsh vibration. Try some seafoam or injector cleaner. Might want to check your motor mounts as well. Go get it checked out, but decline their induction system cleaning offer. I would venture to say that that much vibration is far from normal.

It's your massive BAWLS bouncing around in the seat go get an extra large sports bra and strap it across your sack go around one leg and then over one hip at angle be sure not strap it in the front or you may get an involuntary crotch wax when it comes off (shocked)(stoned)(shocked)

But seriously Sir Robinnuts I am at 65k plus miles and no vibration other than when my second set of tires were worn out. ;)

I don't think I have laughed so hard in my life!

Do a search; there was something discussed about part of the exhaust system having a loose or missing screw or nut. I get that vibration too and it drives me crazy in the mornings.
