2nd gear blues

does anyone else out there with an mp3 have trouble shifting into 2nd at high rpms? any solutions?

i had a problem with second gear. it was a little touch. I put in Redline tranny fluid and it isnt so touchy anymore. havnt grinded in a long time. (knock on wood)

I've noticed that if I have the A/C compressor running, the shifts from 1st to 2nd must be made a little slower at high RPMs. I also have a B&M short throw shifter. Eventually I am going to switch to Redline MTL in my transmission and this should smooth things out a little.

I used to grind second sometimes. I haven't changed a thing, other than my shifting habits . 2nd gear requires a little bit of finesse. Can't just slam it in there. I probably haven't grinded second in about a year now.

Second is difficult at times but the worst is reverse. I hate trying to getthat thing in gear from a stand still

i used to have so many problems getting it into second sometimes i woudl totally mis the shift lol, now wat i found that is if i move itlike im goin to put it in third then slam it in second i can do it so fast my tires spin down the block
