2nd GB for AirFlow AFCs SOLD OUT AGAIN

alright guys......I installed mine from the first group buy last night, and ran around with stock boost for awhile......it was a night and day difference......Then I turned the boost up to 10, and I can't seem to get any traction through 2nd gear for some reason now :-D......I love this thing.....I will be putting it on the dyno next week and send the results to DSM to have it tuned more specifically for my car.

btw what happens if you were to spike up to like 12 psi when you are only running the 10psi map? deto or is there an integrated fuel cut?

I think what he was saying is that nothing will happen since he has the maps layered now.

Originally it was explained that we would get one of 3 maps for different boost settings, but apparently DSMConvert figured out a way to get the unit to use them all at once. The unit has a built in boost sensor. As I understand it, it automatically adjusts between maps depending on the boost level it reads.

mine spikes to 12 and settles at 10, when I get it dynoed next Saturday, I will know more about what my a/f's are doing and whether or not the spike is going to blow up my motor. So I turned the boost controller down to where it spikes to 10 and settles at 9 until I can strap it on the dyno.......I haven't noticed any detonation, and I think since the maps were made a little bit richer, there shouldn't be any problems associated with it.

What I don't understand is why we have to wait anyways...If the units are made and ready to ship, why can't those of us that are ready to pay get ours? Then either wait for the other 2 on their own, or bump them off the list. I'm sure there are plenty of others interested in those 2 spots.

unwound and zx are now off the list and I've got the spots filled....zx decided to buy a unichip instead and never bothered to let anyone know he changed his mind...at any rate invoices will be going out tonight or tomorrow morning....individual units will be available in about 2wks and will be $310 plus s/h.
