You know what a plessure you feel when you are driving in your sleeper and all of the sudden a guy with a STI wants to take you and the taken is him?

That feels really good.

One of my customers just raced a STI in moroso last weekend and took him with his HiBoosted P5 at the stock settings and basic kit.(cool)

Well I have to admit it did feel good to PW3n people with my P5T.

Oh and Juan, I also enjoy watching the 645whp monster RSX that you built. Just simply amazing man. Ill find that vid somewhere on here.

Bored, honed, decked, balanced and assembled.

Have not seen crank walk as a problem.

Well,

Our car makes 331 WHP at 20 psi of boost with only these mods.

Block is stock, crank has never been taken out, stock head, and we only took one day to replace the pistons and rods.

I will be putting a new head, GT3071R turbo, bigger turbo manifold and new intake to see how much HP we can get out of the engine.

And the dyno sheet for this car can be seen where?

in a few months there will be probably 10+ 300whp proteges on here, I am with Daedalus waiting for my MAM built motor and sleeper kit :) hopefully this new block that I got will pass the magnaflux tests unlike the last one :(

How many of them will be street legel and not have big injector problems?

i'm running bigger injectors that juan sells- the 440ccs and guess what- on his stock map and no TUNING at all, the car ran/idled/started like oem. It was AWESOME.

This is a list of the mods we offer to be 300+ whp:

Turbo upgrade kit (includes everything, manifold, turbo, Haltech E6X, injectors, FMIC intercooler, piping, downpipe and mid pipe, boost controller) $4,600.00

Forged Pauter rods/mazda 8.5 to 1 CR pistons kit (includes Rods, pistons, Head gasket, new piston rings and cam seals) $1,350.00

Total $5,950.00

You would still need an exhaust and a clutch.

Juan

Since I already have the FMIC, piping, downpipe, mid pipe, boost controller.
If I get the Forged Pauter rods/mazda 8.5-1 pistons kit, how much PSI can I boost to?

Lets see, MSP is around $17,000-$17500, then you add $9497 = 26,497.

Blue book value on an MSP is about 12000 - 13000.

Go get you an SRT with a stage 2 kit and youll be there with a warantee and a hella better engine.

Go STI and be there with an awsome ride and AWD with a warantee an a hella better engine.

Get a VW R32 and be there N/A and AWD with a pimp car all arownd.

Get a G35 and pimp it.

My $.02

This coming from a guy that bought an RSX. LOL.

I didnt know we had a 2g 4g63 in our speeds. Interesting.

those are the only motors to suffer from crankwalk? they're probably the most well known since many did it bone stock from the factory, but in other cars when modified it happens, just ask the supra guys

Yea just because I have an RSX doesnt mean I dont respect the other makes. I didnt buy this car to blaze the road, I bought it because of the styling, aftermarket, and the great deal I got from my friend (16,500).

I never said that I wanted to be in that range of HP, but with some simple mods (about 3g's) I can surpass the 300hp mark and the car wont even feel it. So, in closing.......

Yes I got an RSX, and Yes those cars I mentioned come built fast from the get go.

Now Laugh loud at your smart ass. Eh:rolleyes:

I am curious to know what YOU would do to reach 250-300hp. List the name of mods and prices and why you choose this. I am very interested to hear your different types of ways to reach this! Let it begin!

To get 250-300HP at the crank would mean you are would push 200-250whp.On an MSP you can do that with a few bolt ons a some extra boost.
Example

FMIC
Intake
exhaust
and a few extra PSI

Now my opinion of the MSP ECU is that you NEED a piggyback or a standalone to maximize your setup.

so by getting these 4-5 mods i can get around 225? Thats not bad. Like I stated before...want something that looks and rides nice. If i wanted massive hp I would go buy an 01 cobra.

Yea that is where I am at. I am getting dyno after AFC. With my FMIC, intake, exhaust, dig. boost controller, 10psi, and my cf hood, I pull amazingly well. j/k about the hood.....

Ive been trying to look at everyones sig in this post....what FMIC are you guys running? Which one would give the most HP? ion, another brand??

I'm running Extra Injectors that only turn on after 1 Psi, so my stock injectors are still there and the idle is normal...

No offense, but I didn't heard your car running like stock. I heard the idle loping, maybe it ran good after a tune, but the idle I heard was far from it. LinuxRacr's idled pretty good once his was started, but it was a bit high.

well, it started and idled well when it was first installed. started right up with no complaints... that was before any tinkering was done. it was a bit high though, but who knows what the temp correction, and coolant corrections etc. WHAT was going on.

Who knows. Maybe he will have the first Protege with big injectors and a standalone to run right on this forum outside of WOT full boost. Maybe but I do not think so.
