245/40/18?

Will 245/40/18 fit on a 2010 speed 3? i can get a good deal on winter tires that are these size but i dont want to buy em if its going to rub? thanks

They could rub. The size I run is 225/40/18, which is a bit wider than the 215/45/18 that is on the MS3.

The 2010's come with 225/40/18 stock! 245/40 is gonna be quite a bit wider and taller! If your not lowered.... you might be ok! If you have a Sears auto center or any kind of tire store near you, they can show the diff in height and width to be more accurate for you! I worked in tires for years and used to know this stuff by heart, sorry i can't be more help! Good luck

If this helps... Just read a another thread where a guy is running a 235/40 and wished he would've ran a 245/40! He said there is plenty of room! Go get you some new rubber!!!

The height difference between the 225 and 245 is about 1/2 inch difference, with the width being about an inch difference.

It depends on the offset of the wheel too. Keep it at +40 to +45 and you should be okay.
