24 month dealer maintemance

:
CX-5, fwd auto
Hi
I did 12 month maintemance at dealer with lubrication of brakes as noted in mazda canada maintemance website. But if you look at mazda canada 24 schedule it does not say any brake pin lubrcation.
My question is at 24 month is oil change tire rotation maybe clean brakes good enough?
Or do dealer specified 24 month service with complete brake tune.
Thanks

I just learned that if you refused one of the scheduled maintenance that they were asking, It could go back to you really bad, and blame you if your car developed a defect, like mine does(was complaining of vibration at highway speed) and said to me it was my fault i rejected their tire rotation maintenance, and that the tires are now bad, (FYI, bought the car march 2013 had all season till dec 2013) Winter tires on for dec 2013 - may 2013) so how is that my all season are very bad? it's not like I harrased my all season and stuff. but anyways, just follow the maintenance for the meantime until your warranty is gone.

Thank you so much. It is very valid point. I will call the dealers and ask again what is mandated 24 month service to ensure warranty is not voided.

Is this information in the owners manual? If so then bring it to the dealer to validate what will be done on theis 12/24 service. I don't like the sound of this if gregbay.... is correct. Ed

For USA, we use a schedule 2 and it's an oil change and tire rotation every 5,000 miles. You really should rotate your tires.
I rejected my Dealer's 15K service that included a bunch of bull crap, I just opted for the regular oil change and tire rotation like what the book says.
They still write on my record that I refused the service and it could void my warranty.
It's all a lie that dealer tries to scare you.
As long as you follow the schedule in the book, you're okay.

You are not obligated to have the dealer perform any maintenance. Just tell them your having another shop do the work or that your doing it yourself. You warranty will not be voided.

Look up the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act. It explains basically how hard it is for a dealer to void your warranty.
