22 inch wheels on my CX-9

:
2010 Mazda CX9
Hey guys. I'm new to this forum. I saw @jayjoshjake had a picture of his Mazda CX9 on here and it looked great. I just got my wheels and tires. While they look great, the tire profile is too low for my liking. I have 265/35/22 tires on them. I tried to upload a pic but it won't let me.

Is anyone else riding with 22's on their CX9? If so, how do you like it? Any feedback would be much appreciated.

Thanks.

You can try using a site like photobucket (most users do) which after you upload it there, it will give you a link to post in the thread.

FWIW I'm rolling on the stock 20's with 245/50R20's OEM tires and I wouldn't want to go any bigger. The ride is already pretty stiff (partly suspension/sporty tuning from Mazda, which I like. Partly bad OE Bridgestone Dueler HL/400's)

You have to remember that the lower the sidewall the rougher it is going to ride because there is (a) less material to absorb shock and (b) the material that is there has to be incrementally stringer to absorb the shock from the road.

Ill be upsizing to either a 20, or 22 this summer. I thought the AWD system in the CX9 would be at least on par with my Escalade, and Sportage on all seasons, But sadly thats not the case. So it looks like ill be investing in some snow tires for the CX9, which means making the stock wheels a dedicated winter set up.
