215/50 - 17 on MSP

Thinking about ordering a set of BFGoodrich Traction T/A V's and was wondering if there would be any problem with a 50 profile tire verse the stock 45. i couldn't imagine there would be a problem, but wanted to check. also, any opinions or experiences with those tires.

You should be ok. The 50's are about a 1/2 inch taller.

Traction T/A's are nice 60k warrenty on a V rated tire. The only thing I'd be worried about is the drop from Z to V other than that they are good tires my friend has those on his Mustang and he loves them.

Thanks for the feedback - i think that they will work well for what i need them to do. I just need them for an everyday tire because i have a set of wheels and tires for autox.
