205/60/16 snow tires - dont fit

Hi,
New member here, I found out the hard way that 205/60/16 tires do NOT fit on my 2001 Protege ES.

I found a great deal on them mounted on Toyota steel rims (5x114). They were on a Mazda 3 I believe.

Next time I'll check the forum FIRST(stooges)

Anyway...just thought I would share...oh, does anyone need them? I am in South East PA.

You're in the 3rd gen forum, and you just stated that they dont fit on the highest riding car of all the 3rd gens, so I'm guessing nobody wants them, haha. Try the 3 forum, or for sale

The post was more of an informational post than a sale post. I'll just put them on my local craigslist...

From the looks of it, eclipse/talon rims seem to be good for this car...i'll keep an eye out for a cheap set.
