2024 CX-5 HUD Directions using Waze?

Ok I am only 1 week into owning the new CX5 2024 Akera. Still figuring stuff out.

Noticed yesterday when I accidentally used Apple Maps to navigate that the directions came up on the HUD. Nice!

Tested it today on WAZE and nope, no directions on the HUD.

Is there a setting I have missed in Waze to get this to happen, or is it simply a case of nope, it dont work with Waze …

Haven’t tested yet with Google Maps or the Mazda maps. Assume it does on the Mazda maps.

It doesn't work with Android Auto, either. If they could get that working through a firmware update, it would be great.
