I did see some threads about the issue, but couldn't find a solution to the issue I am having.
A few weeks ago I purchased a 2021 Mazda CX5 Grand Touring (built 10/21) and it came with a free trail of SiriusXM along with the Traffic Link / Plus. The car did not come with a NAV SD card, so I purchased one online and the NAV worked as intended. The nav did display traffic info along with all the other Sirius features for a few days until it simply decided not to work. Before it stopped working, everything showed as "Subscribed". Once it stopped, everything showed "Not Subscribed".
I called SiriusXM and explained what happened and they said that my vehicle is apparently NOT equipped with the features to have Traffic Link / Plus. I advised them that it was working, and with the help from the forums, told them to simply "override" it. Upon overriding the system, the vehicle showed some features as "Subscribed" except Traffic Plus and Parking Information. We tried to resend the signal, re-do the subscription and reset the radio to no help.
Has anyone had the same issue? Sirius advised me to ask the dealer... I have booked a service visit at the dealer since its still covered by warranty, but maybe there is a solution that can be done before its visit.
Since it did work previously, I am curious to know what happened. Could it be as simple as a software update? The software is version 11022 in North America.
