2021 CX-5 GT Multiple Malfunction Errors

I am not a car mechanic but by looking at your codes it seems to me that the commonality is the braking system. If I were you, I would start with No. 4 , "fill of brake system uncompleted". I would guess a system bleeding and replacing the fluid would be a start.

Can't use cruise control once these errors come up. Like it won't let me start the cruise control since it uses the front sensing radar.
If you have adaptive cruise control, it needs an operational braking system, it won't work otherwise.

I wish Mazda M-MDS was as easy to obtain, install and run like Toyota Techstream for advanced troubleshooting issues like this.

With TS for example you can troubleshoot continuity issues easily within the software for less than $100 for cable and software

I don’t know the hardware costs to use with this

I think I may have an update. I'm finding that the new car battery is draining to very low states like voltage of 12.1-12.3.

It is possible that I have a bad battery but I wonder if there is a parasitic power draw somewhere.

There is a Mazda service call on it but my VIN has no active recalls on this for some reason

Do errors show up on every drive with a freshly charged battery?

This is an option I use to locate parasitic power draws

You can pinpoint fuse or relay that is drawing the power in off state
I'm not sure where to plug those in. I do not have that available, but I do have a multimeter and advanced OBD tool scanner

When i plugged in the new battery, the error came back initially, but I was error free for about 2-3 drives of 20 minutes each. Then the errors came back.

The errors come back in the middle of drives usually, not at the beginning. No issues with starting the car, even in cold weather (although this year hasn't gotten that cold yet).

Is there such a thing as too much power draw from within the car?
I tested battery again and now it measures at 12.8V which should be okay without any issues. Voltage goes to 13.8 with alternator and ramps up with acceleration so I think the alternator also is working.

Had the same issue a while back. It was the vehicle speed sensor. Connected to the hub. $50 sensor on rock auto. I’ll try to find the link

Appreciate the help on this matter below and I'll preface by saying I've scoured the internet and tried multiple things at this point and am at a loss of what to do.

I have the following errors that popped up recently on a trip.
- Front Sensing Camera Malfunction
- Smart Brake System Malfunction
- Forward City Brake Support Malfunction

Initially, usually just brake errors lights come up, but sometimes if I keep driving, additional errors and the check engine light will come on and generate the
- brake override malfunction error

I attached the most isolated codes I could get from when the errors come on. Things I've done to try to repair his situation
- Brake switch/stop lamp change. Tried it once, and helped for a day or so and then returned. OEM part. Tried it again, with a secondary component and it also recurred
- Changed 12V battery. Original battery was 3-3.5 years old. Held voltage around 12.3 at rest and was giving battery health of around 40-50% on testers. Changed to an AGM battery from Costco. Errors disappeared for maybe a few drives and then returned
- Checked the brakes. All the brake pads were recently changed (prior to purchase actually) with good wear. Everything sliding well and without issue.

Everything in the car still works great. Ebrake is working well. Brakes without issue. The errors originally came up mid drive and now recurr randomly while driving. I've noticed it come up while just cruising on the high way and also while applying gentle pressure on brakes. Doesn't seem like a reproducible pattern.

Kind of at a loss of what to do now. Would appreciate any insight into how I can try to fix this myself or go into the diagnostics. Short of changing out the battery again, which seems unlikely, not entirely too sure what could be the cause at this point.

My wife's car developed similar issues today. She has a 2020 CX5 with 25,000 miles and no problems whatever until today. Is now getting dash warning regarding her smart brake system, forward radar, transmission, and TCS.
