Since I bought the car new, 3 years ago, there has been a very slight squeak in the dash, which sounds like a light tap or creak while driving, whenever the outside temperature goes below 30 degrees. It is very hard to find the location of the noise, but it may be coming from the heads up display. I brought the car back to the dealer to find it the first year, but they couldn't hear it. My guess is they parked it in the garage and it warmed up inside enough to make it go away, or they just didn't bother to track it down. After that, I let it go because I was afraid the dealer would do more damage than good in hunting it down.
This year, at a little over 40K miles, the noise appears to be more pronounced, a little louder and more frequent.
Just wondering if anyone else had this problem and what the fix would be.
