Tried to search this before I posted. I have a 2016 cx5 GT. I am getting winter tires put on with hub centric rims all purchased from costco.

Costco emailed me the following question:
"A charge of $2.99 per sensor will be added to the bill to change the TPMS service pack, if TPMS sensors are equipped on your vehicle.
TPMS sensors can also be installed, if needed, for an extra cost."

So do I have a TPMS service pack or do I need to get them installed?

Thanks guys.

There are no sensors.... The pressure is calculated with the speed of the rotation of the wheels... Its another great thing about the cx5 and mazda

The system monitors the tire pressures indirectly using the data
sent from the ABS wheel speed sensors.

manual 4-148

so there's no need for any additional charges nor replacement of tire sensors for 2016's
but the TPMS does need to be reset by the shop or owner after the tires are mounted

So assuming that's the 2.99 charge right?
