2016-2023 CX-9 Corksport Catback Reviews?

Hi All,

New to the forum and just picked up a 2022 CX-9 Touring Plus. Was interested in getting some more sound from the exhaust and saw the Corksport Catback. I cannot seem to find any videos other than the Corksport one. Does anyone have one installed? Thoughts or comments?

I got the cat back years ago and it worked very well a little more response but was very loud. I got rid of the mid pipe and went with just the axle back and was very pleased with that.

would you consider getting an aftermarket exhaust system done up for your car?

You can get a great sound by swapping out the stock resonator and muffler with aftermarket high-flow stuff.

Every clip I've seen of a resonator delete sounded awful. I would leave it.

There's so many options for custom work out there. I like the idea of something easy to just bolt on in the driveway and not being deaf in the car, so seems like the axle back may be the best option.

I found this thread following @speed3chris1 comments: 2019 Mods CX9 (Same for CX5 and Mazda 6) where the user stated it was louder than his modded Audi S8, so for anyone else who comes across this looking for some input on the Corksport CBE, hope it helps.

Yes, you can start with an axle-back. Personally, I just can't justify paying that much for an axle-back, just to have a louder exhaust.
