2014 GT bluetooth stopped working... how to factory reset?

I've had my 2014 CX5 since February, 2014. The bluetooth had been working fine with my phone up until a few days ago. The Bluetooth, Pandora, USB tabs on the dashboard display are grayed out and cannot be accessed. When I try "re-pairing" my phone from the phone, I get a message that it can't find any Bluetooth devices. My dealer gave me a 1-800 Mazda number to call for advise. I called this number, and after explaining my situation, I was told I have to bring the vehicle into the dealership to have them check the Bluetooth module.

Regarding SMS messaging, I have a Galaxy S4 phone. Up until a few weeks ago, I could not access SMS text messages from the car display. I'd get a notification that a new message had arrived, but the download would always fail. After a Samsung OS update a few weeks ago, the message download started working.

I have a 2014 Touring model and I had the same thing happen to me yesterday, with everything being grayed out except for the radio option. After I got to where I was going I turned off the car and let it sit for about 15 seconds before turning it back on and everything was back to normal. I hope that it was only a one off thing but it seems like this is a common issue with bluetooth and Pandora being grayed out.

As for the SMS messaging I have a Galaxy S4 with ATT and the text messaging never worked reliably for me, but ATT recently put out the 4.4.4 update and ever since I updated the SMS function has been working no problem. It's been at least a month or so and usually it craps out after working for about a week, so *knock on wood* maybe that's been resolved for my phone at least.
