2014 CX-5 Wipers only work on high and don’t return

I recently purchased a 2014 mazda cx-5 and now have found the front windshield wipers only work on the high setting. Also when you turn from high to off (or intermediate or low) the wipers just shut off and don’t return to home. Intermittent and low setting do not work. Also if you use the windshield spray it works but the wipers don’t work. Car does not have the rain detection system. Does this car have a relay that may be bad? There is no information in the owners manual or fuse box cover that show a relay for wipers.

Fuse F18 in the underhood fuse box is for the front wipers, but I assume that's good, since you are getting some operation. According to my schematics, the wiper relays appear to be inside the FBCM (in the engine compartment, driver side firewall). Not sure if you can access the relays there or not.

I'd look at the wiper motor.

I haven’t tried replacing the motor yet. Looks like a pain to do lol
