2013 CX-5 Tire Size

HI all

i have a 2013 cx 5 and i am going to put some 22"s on . my question would be how tall of a tire can you run with out any rubbing ..
i am thinking 265/35 or 40 ...
any help would be great

Look in the show wheel thread, some people are running 22's w/o rubbing check their tire spec. I hope this is more helpful than "why".

Well, can't imagine 22" dia wheels to look better. Pushing it quite a bit while looking like donk cars. Then again it's all subjective. With that said, it would definitely weigh more, which is redundant to the fact that one usually buys a CX-5 for efficiency (and handling). Have yet to see a CX-5 look "decent" with 21+ inchers on. 255+ width tires, wider wheels, and lower offsets, okay as it will help with stance.

I am just going with 40 instead of 35 tall

you should think about it before slowing your car down. yes if look is what you are after then go for it, but if performance and mpg then don't do it.
