New to Mazda's and just bought my son his first car (grand touring). Great deal and mechanically great and 2.5 engine just purrs. Dealers putting on new tires on and alignment as part of the deal. The only issue that I knew the dealer wouldn't address or diagnose due to being a non Mazda dealer is this...
The Bose system screen 4.3 I believe (without nav) is lit up but solid white. Radio works and everything functions but obviously can't tell what's going on because screen is solid white. All my online searches don't specifically speak of this issue or how to correct. Also, the climate control display above is blank but all work perfectly. I'm not an audiophile but blessed with analyzing and fixing things due to owning my own construction company for years and have always done my own mechanical work on our vehicles. Would prefer to fix myself with my son as a learning experience for him. Simple thing would be fuses but didn't get a chance to check as dealer still has it performing work stated above. Just seems odd as everything works just screen/display issues. Would really appreciate any info as to where to start. Attached is a stock pic of system. Much appreciated!
