I am considering buying a new mazda 3 2012 with the skyactive and it comes with bose and a few other things including a USB plug in for an ipod ect. Does anyone know on the Mazda cars, can I plug a thumb drive into the USB port and play music that way off of the thumb drive or will it say device not recognized because it is not an Ipod? Thats pretty much the selling point, if it only plays Ipod through the USB port I wont buy it, if it does than i can haul my music in it with my thumb drive.
