2011 Non bose Head unit. External amplifier?

Does the 2011 Factory non nav/non bose sound unit have the amp inside it, or is it external to the unit like the bose?

I believe the non bose audio have the audio amplifier integrated in the head unit, with cables to the doors and front tweeters
