I replaced the factory radio in my 2011 CX-9 with a Pioneer unit. The radio works, but there was no AC. I did some googling and found another thread that indicates that the factory stereo or a third-party module must be connected for the AC to work. I ordered https://www.amazon.com/dp/ (commissions earned) however I my factory radio has 2 connectors, one that seems to only have conductors for the actual radio functions (power, speakers, etc.), and then another connector that I would assume is for the steering wheel controls and CAN bus.
However, the unit that I purchased doesn't appear to have a connector that will connect to the second connector on the car....
